"Galt Twins Blog" goes public

I decided it would be best to split up what I've got to share into two different blogs. At this point it probably doesn't make much difference, but I plan to be posting much more frequently in a few weeks when the semester is finished and we're up in Washington State. So I've set up a blog dedicated to the twins here. This way family and friends who are most interested in them can get more info than I've been giving on this blog. We'll likely post pictures with extreme regularity (much more than I've done here), and either Laura or I will give updates on their development and such as we're able. Of course, you can always get to the their blog through my "Galt Twins" link under "Progeny" over to your right on this page after checking in here.
I'll be giving all the Seattle/Bainbridge Island updates on this page, as well as theological musings, reviews, and anything else I feel like talking about. And, again, I plan to have more time for this pretty soon. So enjoy the new blog, and don't forget about me, Mom!

Blogogizing

Have you ever wondered what in Gehenna this blogging business is all about? What's the attraction? What are the dangers? What does it all signify? What should be our theology of blogging, even? Or, Who really cares, perhaps?
A very thoughtful and talented friend of mine has the answers to all your questions. He delivered a wonderful lecture on blogging that you can listen to here (which I recommend), or read here.

While you're at it, check out his blog. It's the coolest blog I've come across. I must confess a tinge of blog-envy myself. I've actually considered linking his blog from my "Arts" section; it's that good. Enjoy.

(And Grandma, feel free to post your alternative theologizing of the blogging phenomenon in the comments section if you wish. I know you're the only one reading anyway. Yikes! I guess that limits my blog-life-span to one more month tops.)

Beauty and...

the Beast

Sorry for the recent lack of posting. We've been out of town on the weekends, sick when we're home, and generally swamped trying to finish up the semester. So I decided to toss a pictoral bone or two to the family during the posting interlude. Enjoy.
